We are looking for a dynamic member to join our family as an Assistant Manager of Organisation Excellence to drive excellence within the organisation by enabling the effective operation of its organisational goals, through Strategic Data Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Impact Measurement and Corporate Engagement. In addition, there will be exciting opportunities to collaborate with different departments to support their transformation and innovation initiatives, as the Centre embarks on its journey towards the development of a New Science Centre.


Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager of Organisation Excellence include the following duties:

 

(A) Corporate Planning and Strategic Management

1. Manage and support the planning, co-development, and documentation requirements for the following strategic and corporate planning areas:

  1. Annual corporate planning cycle and management events.
  2. Organisational performance data and market analysis and reporting.
  3. Strategic communication and coordination of corporate events.
  4. Organisation-wide Enterprise Risk management.
  5. Evaluation and Impact management.

     

(B) Transformation and Innovation

2. Coordinate transformation initiatives to enhance the organisation’s performance and growth.

3. Assist in the management of innovation related initiatives such as the co-development of innovation tools, engagement platforms and training guides to sustain innovative practices.

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least 4-6 years of relevant experience in strategic planning and/or data analysis and management roles.

 

Candidates must have the following skills, attitudes, and behaviours.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in management of data analysis tools such as SPSS and Qliksense or similar tools.
  • Experience in the development of evaluation frameworks and tools for quality reviews.
  • Experience in facilitating innovation projects and workshops.
  • Experience in the implementation and communication of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Project and/or event management experience is preferred.
  • Good understanding and application of Innovation and Organisational skills such as Design Thinking, Systems Thinking and Theory of Change will be an advantage.
  • Passionate and has a strong drive for excellence and the desire to make a difference.
  • Meticulous, resourceful, and proactive with good managerial and organisational skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate and engage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong skills in workshop customisation and facilitation.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively through written and oral skills.
  • Adaptable to changes based on organisational needs and government policies.
