Section 1: The Experience

  • What is this exhibition about?

    Space Explorers: THE INFINITE is the world's largest immersive space exploration experience.

    Embark on a hour-long immersive adventure through three captivating chapters that will reveal the many wonders of space exploration.

    A Journey Through Space

    This is your chance to witness content captured astronauts at the forefront of space exploration and to live a powerful journey that only a few people have had the privilege to experience in real life. Take part in the first-ever spacewalk captured in virtual reality and discover breathtaking views of Earth and majestics sunrises. It's so realistic and vivid, making you feel like you're truly there. 

     

    Exploring the Daily Life of Astronauts

    Let your curiosity guide your exploration as you embark on captivating journey through the International Space Station. Roam freely in 3D model of the ISS, seamlessly transitioning between its exterior and interior. This exclusive VR content, shot onboard and in space, will give you a glimpse into the daily life of astronauts as they orbit Earth. Get up close and personal as you form intimate encounters with astronauts, sharing meals side-by-side.

    Get a front row seats to NASA's rocket launch to the Moon and witness the giant spacecraft on large screens. Artemis I is the first mission in a series aimed at enabling human exploration of the Moon and Mars. Marvel at exclusive footage that foreshadows the future of space exploration.

  • How long does the experience last?

    Please expect to spend about 45 to 60 minutes with us. We recommend arriving 15 minutes ahead of your ticketed time.

  • In what language is the experience presented?
    The experience is presented in English.
  • Is the experience accessible for children?

    The experience is accessible to those who are 9 years old or older. Children, ages 9 to 12, will need a waiver signed by their parent/guardian before starting the experience. Children under the age of 9 will not be admitted, to include little ones in baby carriers, as it is not recommended by VR manufacturers. 

  • What model headset of VR are used during the experience?

    During your visit you will be wearing an Oculus Quest 2 that has a resolution of 1832 x 1920 pixels per eye.

  • Is it possible to wear eye glasses?

    If you have the option of contact lenses, we recommend you use them instead of glasses for an optimal experience. If you need to wear eyeglasses, it is recommended to wear glasses with a width of 142mm or less and a height of 50mm or less. Anything larger than these dimensions may be uncomfortable. 

  • Is it possible to sit during the experience?

    No. The experience is made for you to wander the space for around 50 minutes. For individuals with reduced mobility, we are happy to accommodate you. Please see more information below. 

  • Do you offer guided visits?

    The experience offers the presence of staff members on site throughout the course. Although we do not offer guided tours, you will still be able to interact with one of our staff members for any needs and /or questions.

  • Is the experience the same for everyone?

    Not quite ! Space Explorers: THE INFINITE is an experience that is different for every visitor. Each visitor explores the International Space Station on their own journey.

  • Is it necessary to dress in a specific way for this experience?

    We recommend that you dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes as it's a physical experience. For your safety, high heels are not permitted. Hats and caps are also not recommended due to the VR headset.

    For the safety of others, backpacks / handbags (even small ones) are not permitted. Locker will be provided prior to the entry. 

  • Can I take pictures or record the experience?

    Yes, however it is not recommended to take photos while wearing the VR headsets for security reasons. We invite our guests to take photos and videos for personal use only‧

    Please note that the use of flashes and tripods is prohibited. Press photography (and any other photography for professional use) are also prohibited, unless authorized and accompanied by a member of staff.

  • Is there any merchandise for sale on site?

    Yes, there are THE INFINITE exclusive merchandise available to purchase on site.

  • What is the minimum age and height for the immersive expedition?

    SPACE EXPLORERS: THE INFINITE is perfect for families with children ages 9 and older. Children under the age of 9 will not be admitted as it is not recommended by VR manufacturers, this includes little ones in baby carriers.

    Children between 9 and 12 will have the opportunity to dive into SPACE EXPLORERS: THE INFINITE in virtual reality with a META Quest 2 headset. However, they will only be able to do the experience in the META Quest 2 if their accompanying parent or legal guardian signs a waiver beforehand acknowledging the risks, and authorizes the activity. Children between 9 and 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that the accompanying adult won't be able to supervise or assist the child during the VR portion of the experience. For child participation, on-site waiver required by accompanying parent/guardian.

  • Is the experience accessible for people with reduced mobility?

    Yes, with certain conditions.

    The experience is outfitted with ramps, and all entrances and exits are designed with a wide enough space for manual wheelchairs, canes, walkers, or alternative manual mobility devices.

    The combined weight of device and person must not exceed 500 lbs (225 kg), as this can damage our floor-mounted equipment.

    Please note: No motorized wheelchairs.

    For those with reduced mobility (RM) we can provide Manual Transport Wheelchairs on-site, free of charge. Guests will need to register at the Visitor Service Centre to loan one.

  • Are backpacks allowed into the experience?

    For the safety of others, backpacks (even small ones) are not permitted. Lockers will be provided prior to the entry.

Section 2: Location & Parking

  • Where is the experience located?
    The experience is located at Science Centre Singapore, The Annexe. 
  • Is there parking available?

    Yes, Science Centre Singapore offers parking facilities for our guests.

  • Are there lockers on site or a coat check on site?
    Yes. Lockers are provided prior to the entry. 
  • Are there washrooms available at the venue?
    Yes, washrooms are available at the Centre. 

Section 3: Ticketing

  • Where can I get tickets?

    Official tickets for this experience can only be purchased on Fever: in the Fever App, available on Google Play and the App Store or on the Fever website.

  • Can I buy tickets on site?

    Yes, onsite tickets will be available based on availability. Nevertheless, we recommend purchasing tickets online in advance to ensure availability.

  • I can't find my ticket. What can I do?

    You can find your tickets in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.

  • What methods of payment are accepted on site?

    Accepted methods of payment are credit and debit cards.

  • Can I reschedule my tickets?

    Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience. In such a case, please contact Fever Customer service indicating your ticket ID.

    All ticket purchases for Space Explorers: The Infinite are final sale. No refunds will be made, and no order can be canceled. For more information, please go to the conditions of sale accepted before the purchase; you can refer to our Terms & Conditions.

  • What happens if I am late for my time slot?

    It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes before the time stated on your ticket. If you miss your check-in time, you should speak to a staff member when you arrive for assistance, and if possible, we will try to accommodate you by giving you access to the site upon your arrival, or else sadly, you will lose your ticket.

  • Is it possible to transfer a ticket to someone else?

    Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

  • Do I have to print my ticket?

    No, your contactless tickets will be validated directly. You can find your ticket with the QR code in the Fever app, within the Tickets section or in your mail reminder which will arrive one day before your selected session.

  • Can I come back a second time for free?
    Please note that ticket into the experience is valid for one entry only.

Section 4: Health and Security

  • Can the virtual reality experience be uncomfortable or unsuitable for certain people?

    The virtual reality experience is safe and enjoyable but potentially uncomfortable for certain people. It is not recommended for people with claustrophobia, heart problems, a history of seizures, epilepsy, or sensitivity to flashing lights or 3D.

    People prone to motion sickness are also more likely to experience discomfort using a virtual reality headset. Vertigo may persist and increase within a few hours of use. Symptoms may also include drowsiness. These symptoms may increase the risk of injury when undertaking normal activities in the real world.

  • Can a person with a heart condition or epilepsy take part in the virtual reality experience?

    It is not recommended for a person with a heart condition or epilepsy to participate in the activity.

  • Can children do virtual reality alone?

    Children aged 9 to 12 must be accompanied to take part in the experience.

    The SPACE EXPLORERS: THE INFINITE experience is suitable for families with children aged 9 and above. Children under the age of 9 are not allowed to participate, even when carried by an adult, for safety reasons.

    If a parent or guardian accompanying a child under the age of 13 wishes them to use a virtual reality headset, a waiver can be signed to acknowledge the risks and authorize the activity. Please note that the accompanying adult cannot supervise or assist the child during the virtual reality segment.

  • Can you do the experience with a child in a baby carrier or stroller?
    Due to the nature of the exhibition, strollers are not permitted.
  • Can a deaf or hard-of-hearing person follow the experience?

    You can still do the experience with hearing aids, please note that the headsets have headphones attached to them and that the volume can be adjusted as needed.

    For visitors who are hearing impaired, English subtitles are available.

  • VR code of practice for an optimal experience

    Please be attentive to the experiences of others, by staying silent or speaking very quietly (if necessary) when addressing to others.

    Please pay attention to the instructions from our team, and follow their advice and tips carefully to ensure you have the best experience possible.

    Please be respectful of the sensitive equipment and handle it with care.

    Violence and violent/vulgar gestures are strictly prohibited on the free-roaming floor.

  • Do all the members of my group have to be together to register?
    Yes, if you want to do the experience together. If your group may arrive at different times, we suggest you order your tickets separately.
