Employees Engagement & Organisation Development

Position Overview

Science Centre Singapore is dedicated to the promotion of interest, learning and creativity in science & technology through imaginative and enjoyable experiences, and to contribute to the nation's development of its human resource.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate to join us as Assistant Manager, People Engagement & Organisation Development


Essential Job Functions

He/she will be responsible for responsible for the following: 

  1. Culture Transformation

    Create and shape a workplace culture align with organization strategic objectives and future of work. Creative in organising activities to promote, infuse and sustain the culture in the organisation.  

     

  2. Enhance Employees Engagement

    Administer and follow up with intervention to address the results of Employee Engagement & Pulse Surveys conducted. This includes organising small group conversations, making presentations to senior leaders and large group of audience.    

     

  3. Design & Development of Learning Interventions  

    -        Develop face-to-face/online learning curriculum for staff training with the objective of achieving/maintaining selected SCS-specific skills. 

    -        Embrace different types of training techniques, including e-learning, videos, tutorials and resource guides etc. Create training materials and ensure that quality standards are met. Create e-learning materials in a learning platform (learning management system) when needed.  

    -        Be creative and bold in the use of Gamification to enhance employees learning experience

    -        Continuously seek out and adapt latest and most appropriate instructional design and learning technology techniques, theories and methodologies to create unique and engaging content to meet the needs of our target audience.

    -        Identify competencies gaps and various learning activities for the Future of Work.

     

    -        Ability to conduct stand up training will be an advantage.

     

  4. Special Projects

    Any other projects as assigned such as preparing draft for application of awards submission. 

 

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate should have the following: 

    • A Degree with minimum 3 or more years of relevant experience in the areas of Organisation Development & Learning, including design of learning intervention and evaluation of training programmes.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Familiar with digital learning tools and platforms.
    • Must be prepared to be hands-on.    
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
    • Those with training qualification such as ACTA, ACLP, DACE and DDDLP will be an advantage.
