Our GREEN Plan

Over the years, Science Centre Singapore has strived to educate the community and the next generation on building a sustainable future together.

As we continue to tackle climate change, the Centre has conceptualized the SCS GREEN Plan to drive the next phase of our sustainability initiatives.

The SCS GREEN Plan consist of three pillars of sustainability: eduGREEN, advoGREEN, evoGREEN.

Green Plan

Young Sustainability Champion - Bigger Size

eduGREEN - Pillar of Sustainability Knowledge

eduGREEN upholds all education-focused sustainability programs such as the Young Sustainable Champion which allows participants to innovate and create solutions to real world environmental issues. Through eduGREEN the Centre hopes to nurture green practices and knowledge within SCS and the community around us.

Climate Action Show

advoGREEN - Pillar of Sustainable Partnerships

advoGREEN upholds all of the Centre's collaborative efforts to promote sustainability. Climate change is a global issue that can’t be solved on our own. Enterprises have to come together to save our planet. Our Climate Changed exhibition was supported by media conglomerate BBC and Canada’s Science Museum, Science North & Dynamic Earth, as we seek to highlight the ever-present threat of the Climate Crisis.

Eco Garden - pond & kids

evoGREEN - Pillar of Sustainable Transformation

evoGREEN focuses on Science Centre Singapore’s efforts to evolve into a sustainable facility. The Centre has been committed to ensuring that it adopts the best green practices such as improving our energy efficiency index and safeguarding the biodiversity in our Eco-garden.
