Holiday Decorations & Festive Light-Up Event

Experience Science Centre Singapore’s Magical Holiday Transformation!

Throughout December, Science Centre Singapore will be dressed up in Christmas cheer, with decorations all around, including our signature 4-metre-tall “Chemis-Tree,” a stunning tree built with periodic table elements that lights up our entrance. Make sure to visit the tree and scan the QR code to make a wish—your wish might just come true!

Join us for the Light-Up Fun on 1 December, Sunday! Here's what to look forward to:

From 5:00 PM - Festive Warm-Up:

• Kick off the celebrations with engaging booth activities and lively Christmas music to set the mood for an unforgettable night. 

From 5:30PM - Snack Time:

• Enjoy free-flow popcorn as you explore the festive atmosphere (available until 7:30PM, while stocks last)

6:30PM - Holiday Magic Begins:

• Santa Claus is coming to town! Snap a photo with him as he roams around handing out gifts.
• Meet our cheerful elves, bringing science to life with interactive roving activities.
• Spot KidsSTOP^TM's beloved REX dinosaur mascot for a roaring good photo op!
• Catch the fascinating Robodog in action!
• Experience the joy of snowfall, creating a magical wintry scene

7:00 PM - Light-Up Moment:

• Witness the magical transformation as the venue comes to life with twinkling decorations.

7:10 PM - Festive Finale:

• End the evening with heartwarming Christmas Carols and mesmerizing performances to leave you in awe.

No admission fee required for the Light-Up Day! This outdoor celebration is open to all, so bring your family and friends along to kickstart the festive season with us!

Night Activities: For Night Exploration

As the sun sets, Science Centre Singapore transforms into a world of glowing wonder! Join us for a series of Night Activities available on 29 & 30 November, and 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, & 15 December, with extended hours. STEAM Festival 2024: The Secret Life of Rex

Bring your little ones to KidsSTOP^TM for a daytime slumber party at STEAM Festival themed around “The Secret Life of Rex.” This fun, interactive event is tailored for young scientists, offering a playful journey to explore the science behind senses, sleep and dreams! Suitable for children aged below 8 years. Find out more about the event here.

Sci-sational Christmas Activities
