      Whether you're interested in the science behind the stars, understanding Earth's oceans from a new perspective, or finding a personal connection to the night sky, Dot in Space 2025 offers an unforgettable experience of discovery and reflection.

      Starry Connections (featuring the stunning Figures in the Sky artworks by Nadieh Bremer)

      Throughout history, civilizations have looked to the stars for guidance. In this zone, uncover how star constellations have shaped human experiences - from early voyagers charting their course across seas using stars to our forefathers sharing stories inspired by the stars.

      The Eyes in the Sky (featuring the critically-acclaimed Our Ocean from Space exhibit)

      Space technology has revolutionised our view of Earth. Experience stunning satellite imagery that showcases the vital role that satellites play in helping us understand our blue planet.     • Planetarium Live Show: Greek Mythology

      Step into the cosmos and journey back in time as we explore the myths and legends woven into the night sky. Join us as we bring Greek mythology to life, revealing the epic tales behind famous constellations. Witness how Zeus, Orion, Andromeda, and other legendary figures were immortalised among the stars, shaping stories passed down for generations.

      *This Science Café session will be taking place at the Main Stage.

      • Dr Abel Yang | Senior Lecturer, National University of Singapore Department of Physics

        Dr Abel Yang has established himself as a distinguished educator in higher education. With extensive experience in practical astronomy, he has mentored numerous students, helping them navigate their academic journey in this fascinating field.

        In his upcoming presentation, Dr Yang will explore the science of astrometry and stellar positioning. His talk will delve into the intricate movements of celestial bodies, examining how these cosmic patterns not only illuminate our understanding of the universe's history but also enhance our current knowledge of the cosmos.

      • Mr Lim Meng Hwee | Senior Science Educator, Science Centre Singapore

        Mr Lim Meng Hwee channels his profound passion for public education into engaging and inspiring programmes. As a member of the Observatory, he conducts live planetarium shows during the popular Friday night stargazing sessions, bringing the wonders of the cosmos to life for visitors. Known for his enthusiastic approach to science communication, Mr Lim expertly combines scientific knowledge with storytelling to make astronomy accessible and captivating for audiences of all ages.

        In his presentation, Mr Lim will explore the rich tapestry of constellation mythology across different cultures. He will examine how diverse civilisations have interpreted the same patterns of stars, highlighting both the universal themes that connect these narratives and the distinctive cultural elements that make each interpretation unique.
