Donor Highlights

Science Centre Singapore partners with both local and multinational corporations to create unique experiences and add value to the various community groups we serve.

Abbott Young Scientist Programme

With the kind support of Abbott, Science Centre Singapore is able to bring science to underprivileged kids at the Primary School Level.

Abbott funds a programme which brings Science Centre Singapore mentors and kids together in a hands-on programme aimed at growing interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

As part of the programme, Abbott staff also volunteer in activities to encourage bonding between the participants, Science Centre Singapore staff and the kids’ families.

Tinkering Studio’s Creators-in-residence Programme

Applied Materials, a Singapore MNC, recognises the value of exposure to the creative aspects of art science. They work with Science Centre Singapore to identify and bring artist-scientists from abroad to share their life experiences with youth who are involved in the Centre’s Applied Learning initiatives.

Meeting these creative individuals may inspire our youth to take similar paths; and seeing the creators’ unique exhibits or programmes will encourage them to appreciate science even more.
