Celebrate SG60 with the Young Scientist Badge Programme

To commemorate Singapore's 60th birthday, the Young Scientist Badge (YSB) programme is launching an exclusive SG60 badge.

How to earn the SG60 Badge?

Simply complete 2 Young Scientist badges from Jan – Dec 2025 to earn a free SG60 badge!

Badges can be completed through:

  1. Online on the YSB platform, and
  2. Onsite at Science Centre by participating in any of the following YSB programmes:

    For each badge completed onsite at Science Centre, participants will receive 1 stamp on a stamp card.

The stamp card along with any e-badges earned on the online platform can be presented to the Visitor Services Centre (VSC) for redemption of the SG60 badge from 1 Jun - 31 Dec 2025.

  • Frequently Asked Questions
    1. Can I redeem the SG60 badge if I completed 1 badge onsite and 1 badge online?
      Yes, simply present the stamp collected from the onsite programme and the e-badge earned on the online platform to the Visitor Services Centre (VSC) for redemption from 1 Jun - 31 Dec 2025.

       

    2. Can the Young Scientist badges I have completed in previous years be used to redeem the SG60 badge?
      As the SG60 badge is part of the celebratory activities for Singapore’s 60th birthday, only badges completed from Jan – Dec 2025 are eligible for the redemption of SG60 badge.

       

    3. I completed a badge through an onsite YSB programme in Jan, Feb or Mar 2025 but did not receive a stamp. What should I do?
      Please approach our staff with proof of your attendance at the onsite YSB activity to redeem the stamp. For subsequent programmes, please ensure that you obtain a stamp from the staff onsite before leaving Science Centre.
