About H2GP
Ever heard of using renewable energy, electricity production and hydrogen fuel cells to create to create The Next Generation Fuel Cell Car? Science Centre Singapore proudly presents a thrilling new competition for schools coming in 2024.
Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix, energised by Chevron is an education programme for students that focuses on renewable energy, particularly hydrogen fuel cells. Its highlight is an exciting radio-controlled (RC) car race in which teams design, engineer and race hydrogen-powered cars.

Programme Details
Open to MOE students ages 13 - 17 years
Team size: 4 - 5 students guided by a teacher or school staff
Fee: Fully sponsored by Chevron
Key Dates:
- 29 February 2024: Registration deadline
- 8 March 2024: Compulsory teachers development at Science Centre Singapore (for selected teams)
- March - July 2024: H2GP Pro Syllabus at own venue (to be facilitated by teachers)
- 3 & 4 August 2024: National Competition at Science Centre Singapore
- 9 - 12 September 2024: World Finals at Aneheim, California (for winning team only)

H2GP Curriculum
This syllabus assumes approximately 3 hours of activities per week. The syllabus are to be conducted by teachers at own venue. Training and resources will be provided during the teachers development session.
Note: Regular technical chat sessions are available for technical query and guidance.
