Ticketing Assistant Manager

Business Development

Position Overview

Science Centre Singapore is a household name and ranked as one of the best Science Centre in the world for its innovative and creative products and offerings. Its group of attractions received more than a million visitors annually.

 

As digitalisation transformation process intensifies after COVID, we are seeking a dynamic IT savvy person to manage online ticketing system, a core system that impacts both internal & external stakeholders.

 

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join the Business Development Department.

 

Essential Job Functions

The candidate is required to manage ticketing operations for Science Centre Singapore of the following areas: 


  1. Revenue Collection:
    • Work with Finance Department to ensure monthly revenue collection is accounted for.

     

  2. Refunds:
    • Verify & approve refund requests based on refund SOP.
    • Process refund in Gevme Ticketing System.
    • Manage refund Excel files together with Finance Department to track all refunds & ensure refund back to credit cardholders. 

     

  3. Attraction / Event Management:
    • Work with various dept to setup attractions, workshops, events and manage ticketing system interface with other systems (e.g. Qlik Sense data analytics system, Workday finance system, CRM system, turnstile system, WeChat mobile app)
    • Capacity Management: Configure & allocate capacity & timeslots carefully for various combo tickets & single tickets.
    • Calendar Management: Configure operating days (including peak & off-peak days)

     

  4. Ticket Management:
    • Work with various departments to create various tickets for attractions, workshops, events (e.g. public events / school events) and manage ticketing system interface with other systems (e.g. Qlik Sense data analytics system, Workday finance system, CRM system, turnstile system, WeChat mobile app)
    • Configure ticket properties (name, price, ticket sales date)
    • Assign each ticket to relevant attractions / activities.
    • Toggle peak & off-peak days in every attraction & every active tickets
    • Configure & test check-in locations for ticket scanning.
    • Update ticket details in Ticket Master File, including revenue apportionment details to individual attractions / activities/ events.

     

  5. Create unique promo codes for open-dated tickets for corporate clients (e.g. corporate groups / events)
    • Configure promo code properties (code, ticket name, discount details, number of usages per promo code, date duration)
    • Generate unique promo codes in Gevme Ticketing System
    • Update unique promo codes in Promo Code Excel file.

     

  6. Manage generic promo codes for promotion partners. (E.g. Discounts for various bank promotions, PAssion cards, NTUC members)
    • Configure promo code properties (code, ticket name, discount details, number of usages per promo code, date duration)
    • Generate promo codes in Gevme Ticketing System.


Requirements

Candidate should possess knowledge or experience in ticketing operations, admin or equivalent with minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in hospitality industry.

Excellent customer focus & communication skills are essential.
