Ever felt like your mind was playing tricks on you? Or wondered why we sometimes perceive things differently from others? Join us in this interactive presentation that takes us on a journey through the mind!

Together with skits and demonstrations, anchor scientist Dr Jean Liu shares with us psychology concepts related to how we think, and perceive. Participants can expect to gain deeper insights into the fascinating mechanisms behind topics such as our memories and emotions.

Dr Jean Liu is a psychology researcher who seeks to understand how we think, feel, and act. She completed her PhD on the neuroscience of love, and conducted brain scans during her postdoctoral fellowship to understand how people make decisions on what to eat. As a former professor at Yale-NUS College and consultant for the World Health Organisation, she brings a unique blend of academic and practical expertise to the table.
